Lyrics:
An old Elf went travelling on her Saber from afar
'Twas many wanes of the moon since her journey did start
She rode to a Temple, where a bright flower bloomed
And her heart felt the weight of the wound, and the tears of Elune.
She followed a light that shone bright in the sky
Never before had she seen such a twinkling up high
A vessel that caused all the Nether to shake
And the demons to pause in it's wake, and they were afraid.
Then a woman spoke, she said "have no fear,"
"I was bitten in anger", though her eyes showed no tears
Half wolf yet half human, she could not distinguish her years
And suddenly the saddest voices...filled the air
And they went... ahhh
Deep ran the streams and the woods...
where Darnassus stood
Those suffering voices went trembling through the ground
They travelled as far as the snowy Icecrown
Where a King sat alone on a frozen throne
And the eyes of the dead burned so bright
Through Winter nights
And just before dawn when the Nether is nigh
The old Elf looked on with a tear in her eye
Such beauty and sadness had not passed her by
And suddenly the echoes of war...filled the shores
And they went... ahhh
She wept o'er the ruins she saw...of Theramore
And she went... ahhh
All the beauty and all of the loss...of Azeroth
The whole world is waiting to hear the songs once more
There are thousands of stories; what are heroes for?
Oh your journey will take you across the world
And you will see all the beauty and loss...of Azeroth
