(5E D&D) Unearthed Arcana - The Mystic Class

After a few previous iterations and false starts we finally have Wizard's 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons version of Psionics in the Mystic class.
Within we find that psionics live up to their reputation of being highly powerful and versatile, with complex new mechanics not for the uninitiated.

The authors did a great job of providing many options for the class, such as offering six archetypes to choose from,
including the popular Soul Knife, as well as dozens of new powers and abilities in the form of Disciplines that really let you customize your character.
More options for the classes has been my recommendation for quite a while and it is great to see this philosophy
being implemented more and more in Unearthed Arcana. Overall the Mystic is a great take on the Psionic class and one I recommend you playtest soon!

(5E D&D) Mystic Class - Soul Knife Build

In this video we showcase a step by step build for a Soul Knife character,
one of the Orders of the Mystic class recently released via Unearthed Arcana.

The main goal of the Soul Knife is to be as cool as possible with the 'bzzm' and 'shzz' of your blades
while also doing as much damage as possible. This build will enable you to not only do that damage
but excel outside of combat as a scout and speaker for your party.
